A Maine Sleepaway Camp for Girls Ages 8–17

Located on beautiful Alford Lake in Hope, Maine, Alford Lake Camp is a traditional Maine sleepaway camp for girls ages 8–17. Summers at ALC are filled with friendship, belonging, adventure, and opportunities for girls to grow in confidence and independence while becoming part of a welcoming camp community.
 

As one of the world’s oldest girls’ summer camps, ALC is rooted in tradition, connection, and the belief that camp should be “the best summer a girl can have.” Whether attending for the first time or returning year after year, campers build lifelong memories, meaningful friendships, and a strong sense of self in a supportive lakeside environment.
